Master’s Program

Through a rigorous program of lectures, seminars and research activities, the four-semester, Masters in Arts program in International Relations and Diplomacy consists a wide range of subjects that delves into contemporary discourses on foreign affairs. The program strives to impart theoretical, methodological, and practical set of knowledge and skills to the graduates.

Please refer to the syllabus to look at the subjects taught each semester and their respective credits.

Each subject will consist of internal and external evaluation. Out of the 100 marks, 60 marks consists of final board examination occurring at the end of every semester, while internal evaluation worth 40 marks will be carried out by the respective faculties. The internal evaluation considers a term paper, presentation, a mid-term exam and attendance record—as per the University guidelines, students are required to maintain 80% attendance to qualify for final examinations. To complete the course the students also have to submit an original dissertation of minimum 20,000 words in the final semester.
