Dr. Khaga Nath Adhikari, Former Ambassador of Nepal to Thailand, is a regular faculty at DIRD. He served in Nepal’s Foreign Service for more than two decades. He was the Under Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2003 and became the Joint Secretary in 2009.  Dr. Adhikari has also served as the Permanent Representative to UNESCAP with concurrent accreditation to Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Singapore and Vietnam. He holds a Master’s degree in International Politics from ULB, Brussels, Belgium, and a Ph.D. from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan. He makes regular contribution to journals, magazines and newspapers, while his book titled ‘Myth and Reality, Tibet and the Nepalese People There’ was published in 1997.
