Asst. Prof. Niha Pandey

Asst. Professor

Niha Pandey is an Assistant Professor at the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy at Tribhuvan University, Nepal.  She holds her Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from Lancaster University and Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from Tribhuvan University. She is actively engaged in teaching and research on International Relations infrastructure and Foreign Policy themes. Her areas of interest include South Asian Politics, Diplomatic Practices and Human Rights in South Asia.  She worked as a co-editor in her publication titled, Human Rights and Impunity in South Asia: States, Societies and Institutions (2018). She has contributed to the book Nepal and the Great Powers (2018), where she wrote on Nepal-Germany Bilateral Relations. Her recent journal publication includes On the Crossroads of Economy and Environment: Nepal and BRI (2020) published in Journal of International Affairs, Department of International Relations and Diplomacy, Tribhuvan University,  Diplomatic Practices in Nepal (2019) published in the Journal of Asian Politics and Society-JAPS, Centre for Asian Studies, Department of Political Science, University of Chittagong and The Post 1990 Diplomatic Practices (2018) published in Tribhuvan University Journal. She holds an academic excellence award Nepal Bidhya Bhusan Padak  2017 and Dr Dubasu Chettri Gold Medal 2017.
